最致命的動物　小心！就在你身邊

奪走最多人命的動物，不是鯊魚或鱷魚等凶猛動物，而是蚊子，據估每年平均有72萬5千人死於因被蚊子叮咬感染的瘧疾。
 
微軟(MicroSoft)創辦人比爾蓋茲(Bill Gates)25日在自己的部落格上，發表一篇文章指出最危險的15種致命動物，高居榜首的就是蚊子，其次則是人類本身，每年有47萬5千人被他人殺害，喪命於蛇類的則有5萬人，位居第三，第四到第十五依序是小狗、舌蠅、獵蝽、淡水蝸牛、蛔蟲、條蟲、鱷魚、河馬、大象、獅子、狼和鯊魚。
 
估計2012年有2.07億人感染瘧疾，其中9成的死亡病例都在非洲，7成7的死者年紀都在6歲以下，輕微的瘧疾症狀如同流感，高燒發寒，嚴重的瘧疾則恐導致終身智能不足，甚至死亡，雖然過去12年來，瘧疾病例數減少25%，死亡率也降至42%，但仍有不少衛生問題嚴重的國家，依舊深受瘧疾威脅，今年的世界衛生日以「小叮咬威脅大」為主題，同樣也是倡導全球重視環境衛生和個人清潔的重要性。（周佩萱／綜合外電報導）
