本季登錄在台灣大的王信凱，2日在家鄉台中的台灣體育大學體育館舉辦引退賽，雖然只上場3分13秒，留下的是滿足，以及「有始有終」四個字。

「像陳信安那種等級的球員，才有資格辦引退賽，在我身上，頂多就是個畢業典禮。」王信凱謙虛地說。

王信凱SBL第2季加盟台灣銀行，第5季轉戰台灣啤酒，後來一度轉戰中國大陸CBA，卻在體能、球技屬巔峰之時受到病魔摧殘。

「一開始是腰傷，無論怎麼治療、復健都沒有用，真的以為沒辦法再回來。」王信凱說。

正當王信凱重拾信心之時，又遇到一次重傷害，讓他相當灰心，「腰傷快好了，腳踝韌帶卻斷了，那時候我再度覺得，一切都完了。」他說。
