馬英九追思抗日烈士羅福星

總統馬英九上午9點多，前往苗栗縣大湖鄉的抗日烈士羅福星殉國百周年追思會場，率同縣長劉政鴻與烈士孫子羅國慶、孫女羅秋昭等人在義民廟隆重行三獻禮，肯定羅福星與許多有志青年為國家拋頭顱、灑熱血，是台灣也是中華民國永遠的烈士，也為畫家楊炳輝作品「羅福星畫像」揭幕。

馬總統隨後轉赴後龍參觀由前勞委會輔導的微型創業鳳凰計劃商家「義諾咖啡店」，鼓勵創業婦女，離開前合影高喊：鳳凰創業向前行 讚！並在餐盤簽上「聞香下馬」，預祝生意興隆，結束在苗栗的行程。(吳傑沐／苗栗報導)
