丁小芹上年代《今晚誰當家》欲澄清負面傳言，可空手沒帶任何資料平反，表示一切進入司法程序，自己無可奉告，該言論讓知名作家李昂看不下去，數度狠批：「妳到底是天真還是笨啊？」丁認真回：「我想我是笨吧！太容易相信人了。」

她去年在東區開服飾店，陸續被爆出拖欠房租，代購名牌包未出貨，服飾店倒閉後，她控訴合夥人帶員工捲款潛逃日本，自己同時捲入積欠廣告公司及友人36萬財務糾紛，連工讀生7千塊薪水都沒付，爆料接踵而來，可她身為老闆娘，當時卻大搞失蹤，節目上她指出，糾紛部分進入司法程序，自己無可奉告。

表示站在保護和私密條款立場，不能讓當事者曝光，直說對方太年輕，自己想留後路給他們，說詞讓人霧裡看花。苦苓見狀直言：「不要以為清者自清，沒拿出證據，大家都不會相信，逃避、拖延、失去信用，就不要怪媒體將妳妖魔化。」她忍不住淚灑攝影棚，潰堤淚崩道：「我是創作者、設計者，不是個生意人。」
