台中市長胡志強今天很忙，行程從早排到晚，上午為了女兒胡婷婷「閃離」的事，硬是「喬」出一場記者會，接下來，他一會兒去為活動開幕敲鑼，一會兒又要主持「泊嵐匯國際會展中心」工程簽約儀式，工程預計明年初發包，１０６年底完工，展場可提供４、５千個攤位，猶如是打造「公園草坪上的大樹」，完工後將成為全台最大國際會展中心、中台灣的新地標。
 
胡志強說：「這是夢想成真的日子！」，想當然，他指的是會展中心啦！（葉濬明／台中報導）
