火箭今主場迎戰國王，前3節靜悄悄的林書豪，在第4節趕進度，單節投進1記3分球，攻下7分、2助攻、1阻攻，另發生1失誤，全場10投4中，攻得13分、1籃板、4助攻、1抄截和1阻攻，終場火箭以119比98大勝。
 
國王一口氣傷了2大主將，明星前鋒蓋伊(Rudy Gay)首節腳跟腱受傷退場，當家中鋒柯辛斯(DeMarcus Cousins)也在第2節左腳踝扭傷退場，讓國王頓失重心，「魔獸」霍華(Dwight Howard)和「大鬍子」哈登(James Harden)把握機會展現火力，霍華26分、13籃板、4阻攻，哈登24分、9助攻、2抄截、2阻攻。（陳雍仁／綜合報導）
