連續客場征途的第一戰，火箭踢到鐵板，與老鷹的低命中率大戰中，雖曾取得領先，但後段遭逆轉，甚至在反撲時出現失誤導致吞敗，以80比83告負。

林書豪此役拿下11分，傳出1次助攻，發生4次失誤，他的主要得分都在第二節，共拿下7分，第一節與第三節都無分數進帳。

火箭此役團隊命中率41.2%，還高於老鷹的37.2%，團隊三分球19投6中，老鷹32投9中，但大半在關鍵時刻投進，火箭的團隊籃板也多出4個，但是助攻數15次，少了老鷹10次。

原本老鷹少了Al Horford的情況下，Dwight Howard在禁區能發揮優勢，不過他過早陷入犯規麻煩發揮有限，此役15分、11籃板。

火箭得分最高的是James Harden，攻下25分，三分球3投2中，14次出手進6球，罰球14投11中，替補的Aaron Brooks有13分進帳。
