憂北韓 美派裝甲部隊至南韓

（法新社華盛頓7日電） 五角大廈今天表示，美軍將從裝甲部隊抽調800官兵到南韓，加強美國在南韓的兵力，以因應萬一爆發北韓危機的情況。

軍事官員表示，從第12騎兵團第1營抽調的這批部隊、裝甲車和戰車，將從下月起部署在南北韓分隔線附近的哈維（Hovey）和史坦利（Stanley）營地。

五角大廈在聲明中說，這項輪調部署是戰略性轉向亞太地區政策的一部分，「以加強反應能力，更大程度的滿足戰區行動要求」。

發言人華倫（Steven Warren）告訴記者，這是「我們在太平洋地區重新平衡政策的一部分」。

美國目前已在南韓部署2萬8500部隊。
