【短片】美發布暴風雪警報　逾千航班取消

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】2014才剛開始，美國氣象部門就向長島、麻省等多個地區，發布暴風雪警報，相關地區極可能遭到時速超過48公里的暴風吹襲，積雪可達36公分。

受到惡劣天候影響，截至美國東岸時間周四(2日)清晨6時，已有986個進出美國的航班遭到取消，主要影響地區為芝加哥、克里夫蘭等地。紐約當局呼籲民眾，外出工作盡量搭乘大眾運輸系統，雖然目前道路運輸仍正常，但高速公路可能因為大雪而封閉。
