關西2700斤鹹菜　送國中小當營養午餐

【林師民／新竹報導】關西鎮促進產業文化發展協會日前向關西農民收購2700斤鹹菜，今天在關西國小分裝，致贈給關西12所國中小學和華光智能發展中心，當作營養午餐食材，由縣長邱鏡淳和協會理事長劉文禎代表致贈。
 
劉文禎說，關西鎮製作鹹菜已有百年歷史，是當地特產，協會每年都會先向農民收購芥菜，提供給民眾體驗踩鹹菜，經過踩踏後再放進甕裡醃漬、發酵，製成鹹菜後再送給學校食用。
