國道擴建生物廊道　讓動物有安全的路走

【陳如嬌／台北報導】國道許多路段會經過山區，國道高速公路局統計，從2009年至上月底止，計有近4萬筆動物在國道上死亡的紀錄；為讓動物和昆蟲有一條安全的路可走，高公局已在國1台中、國3苗栗通霄、台南白河和雲林林內等路段，架設防護網或生物廊道，讓紫斑蝶、鳥類和中型哺乳動物能安全通過，未來還將擴及國3關西等路段。
 
高公局說，經監測架設有防護網或生物廊道的路段，發現野兔、白鼻心等多種動物已經常往來使用，車禍死亡件也大幅減少。
