「水貨狀元」名符其實，費城76人裁掉Kwame Brown。

根據《ESPN》報導，由於Brown的表現令人失望，導致76人決定提前中止合約關係，雙方原本簽下的是一紙2年合約。

本季至今還沒有上場紀錄的他，去年也只打了22場。

當時被譽為「最佳高中球員」的Brown，高中畢業後就棄學投入NBA選秀，也是2001年的狀元郎，但遲遲未打出應有水準，13年的聯盟生涯僅繳出場均6.6分、5.5籃板的成績，不過總計還是被他撈了6700萬美元。

76人也炒掉後衛Darius Morris，轉而簽下Elliot Williams和Lorenzo Brown。
