【短片】日外海火山爆發　出現新小島

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】距離日本東京1千公里遠的小笠原群島「西之島」，近日在火山噴發後，在附近形成一個直徑約200公尺的新小島。日本海上保安廳今日表示，已經派遣專家搭機前往現場調查，而氣象廳也將持續拍照和攝影，藉此分析火山活動的狀況，也呼籲作業船隻注意。

日本官房長官菅義偉表示，「領土當然越大越好」，不過過去曾經有過小島出現後不久、又消失的記錄，例如在1986年於硫磺島附近也曾經出現小島，但49天後又消失，因此官方暫時不會對這座新小島命名。
