中市警方破獲最大賭博網站　年營業額逾5億

【朱俊彥／台中報導】台中市警方昨破獲昨天晚間在文心、青海路破獲一個號稱華人地區最大賭博網站洗碼中心「天子特區」，逮捕主嫌楊姓男子(22歲)在內等12嫌，查扣電腦、營收表銀行存摺等證物。 警方調查，該公司配合各家賭博網站進行籌碼兌換，會員所贏得的點數可透過寶物出售交換平台，以1比1洗點換現金，推出「首創5分鐘快速到帳」。該公司從2011年經營至今，會員超過3萬人，年營業額超過5億，獲利超過4千萬元。全案訊後依賭博罪嫌送辦。
