羅致政退選　民進黨：照原定時間民調

 【吳家翔／台北報導】原要參選新北市長的羅致政今宣布退出選舉，民進黨秘書長林錫耀表示，尊重他個人的意願與決定，但依照協調小組決定的時間，還是必須進行民調，至於是否要將羅致政剔除民調名單，必須再經協調小組做最後的決定。羅致政退出後，新北市長提名成為行政院前院長游錫堃與前立委莊碩漢的對決。
 
對於羅致政在退選時指稱，黨中央的時程佈局壓縮他的努力空間，林錫耀表示，黨中央協調小組上周與游錫堃及莊碩漢協調有共識結論，決定在12月2日進行民調，這個時間是經過3位有意參選者簽字同意。
