阿里山遊樂區入口轉運站

【李宗祐／嘉義報導】阿里山遊樂區年遊客數逾200萬人次，龐大人潮及車流量的湧入，常使得阿里山公路無法消化，尤其經常在遊樂區門口路段造成大塞車，影響遊憩品質。

嘉義林管處進行遊樂區入口轉運站與服務中心共構工程，完工後不會再有大型遊覽車進入商店區、人車爭道危險景象。經林管處與中油協商，由林管處提供阿里山公路87.5公里佔地約1000坪土地給中油做新站用地，斥資近2000萬元幫中油新站做水保工程，做為取得阿里山遊樂區入口轉運站與服務中心用地條件，中油新站今年4月啟用，林管處著手推動轉運站等工程。

林管處指出，未來阿里山交通轉運站及服務中心將是一座符合節能節碳環保理念的綠建築，外觀將以森林、樹、葉子等形式呈現，充滿生機及有機。林管處表示，該轉運站等工程總工程費約6900萬元，預計在2015年3月中旬完工，原在園區內的公車站將遷移至轉運站營運，並設置簡易遊客導覽服務諮詢中心，屆時遊樂區遊客安全會更有保障。
