小摩、瑞信考慮限制交易員網路聊天

【陳冠穎／綜合外電報導】英美監管機構嚴查操縱LIBOR（London Interbank Offered Rate，倫敦銀行同業拆借利率）弊案，摩根大通（JPMorgan Chase & Co，小摩）、瑞士信貸（Credit Suisse）擬關閉交易員電腦的網路聊天室功能避嫌，蘇格蘭皇家銀行（Royal Bank of Scotland，RBS）、巴克萊（Barcalys）、瑞士銀行（UBS，瑞銀）、花旗（citi）則考慮規範及監控。

據《華爾街日報》報導，網路聊天室已成為交易員之間或與顧客聯繫不可或缺的一環，全球外匯、商品、股票及固定收益資產買賣，一部分是透過主要由彭博主機連結的多重交易商聊天室達成。但一連串的利率及其他市場操縱使得網路聊天室受到注意，遭受巨額罰款及名聲損害的潛在風險，使得銀行開始考慮整頓交易員的作業方式。
