監控惹火歐洲 美議員：虛偽

（法新社華盛頓27日電） 美國監控計畫引發歐洲領袖憤怒回應，但美國國會議員今天說，監控計畫保障了歐洲的安全，歐洲人應該心懷感激，並敦促盟邦改善自家情報及監控措施。

聯邦眾議院情報委員會主席羅傑斯（Mike Rogers）說，外國政府對美國國家安全局（NSA）大規模搜集數十位國際領袖及平民百姓的通訊資料感到憤怒，根本是「虛偽」。

羅傑斯也譴責新聞媒體錯誤解讀美國的做法。

羅傑斯告訴美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）：「我認為，如果美國情報機構沒有試著收集資訊來捍衛美國國內外的利益…才是更大的新聞。」（譯者：中央社樂羽嘉）
