【綜合報導】天兔昨晚7時許登陸廣東汕尾。廣東省當局至今天凌晨的統計證實，全省有21人在風暴下死亡。

曾經一度預測會被「天兔」直撲的香港，民眾紛紛嚴陣以待。儘管最後因路徑改變，而從香港以東約150公里的汕尾一帶登陸，並逐步減弱。不過香港街頭仍是吹起狂風暴雨，有民眾為了拍下驚人的巨浪，險些被浪捲入海中，相當驚險。
