此案為宏達電公司在今年8月間，對公司設計部門的簡姓副總、吳姓處長及黃姓設計師提出告訴，指控他們涉嫌虛報設計費近新台幣1000萬元
宏達電控稱，簡志霖等人明知NEW HTC ONE機殼是自己的設計團隊設計，卻勾結「威信電通科技」，佯稱是委託威信設計，由威信出具假發票，交給簡志霖等人向宏達電請款，廠商領走設計費後，再將現金分次交給簡志霖3人，估計3人自5月至7月共詐領1000多萬元設計費。
