戴維斯歸化　移民署最速件處理

【政治中心／台北報導】中華隊在第27屆亞洲男子籃球錦標賽感動球迷，歸化洋將戴維斯（Quincy Davis）表現亮眼。為爭取戴維斯歸化，趕上亞錦賽，內政部長李鴻源今表示，內政部決定引用《國籍法》規定，對國家有特殊貢獻者，不受居留5年等限制，仍可申請歸化；內政部入出國及移民署也將以最速件處理，從申請許可歸化到核發定居證，只用1週，期間戴維斯也到美國在台協會放棄美國籍，趕在亞錦賽前加入中華隊。
