【綜合報導】根據農業食物化學期刊(Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry)刊登的研究報告指出，喝西瓜汁可舒緩肌肉痠痛，加快消除乳酸，縮短運動員的恢復時間。
 
報告中指出先前研究就發現西瓜具有抗氧化的特性，可增加肌肉蛋白質，增強運動員表現。

這次西班牙卡塔吉娜科技大學的研究團隊，針對西瓜含有的瓜氨酸(L-CITRULLINE)做研究，讓受試者在運動前一小時飲用富含瓜氨酸的西瓜汁，以及不含瓜氨酸的天然果汁，發現雖然兩種飲料都有助舒緩肌肉痠痛，但富含瓜氨酸的西瓜汁顯然更能在人體內發揮效用，可加速消除乳酸。

【吳家翔╱台北報導】基隆市長張通榮因關說酒駕婦女案遭監院彈劾二度未過關，監察院長王建煊今主動拋出震撼彈，認為監察院應關門，引發監院強烈反彈，監委砲轟王不了解來龍去脈就亂發言，難道20幾個監委審查彈劾案都是白痴嗎？幾位監委都痛批王亂講話，有監委更直指王的監察院長位置才是酬庸來的。

王建煊說他因張通榮彈劾案未過關氣得不得了，還認為監察院比雞肋還不如，還主動呼籲立院修憲改革。一名監委反問王，要改革什麼？要列出具體改革目標才對，什麼制度不對要講出來，要監察院關門有什麼理由？這名監委要王不要以偏概全，「整個制度不對在於你（指王）！」

另一名監委則說，「那就關門吧！」希望王不是因為只剩一年的任期，要走了就說些風涼話。監委私下表示，王也不是第一亂講話，監委普遍對王講話都不敢恭維，也不稀奇，但20幾名監委審查張通榮案，大家都在社會上不同職位歷練過，心中都有一把尺，王對全案也不了解，單憑一案就亂下妄語。

一名監委聽聞王的談話，直說：「很奇怪，每次都亂講話。」他說，王認為其他人是酬庸來的，但王的位置才是酬庸來的，難道不是馬總統酬庸新黨的嗎？且監察院又不是只有王一個人的，他要走就自己走，不要把其他人都拖下水。

【綜合報導】《軍審法》修正案今上路，軍方原訂適用第一階段移交普通監獄的254名軍囚中，扣除保外就醫5人及普通法院借提4人、借執行2人，今晨將其餘仍在軍監的243人，分批移交高雄、雲林、台北、屏東、彰化、嘉義看守所(鹿草分監)、雲林二監、台南、台南分監等9處監所。

不料，其中3名原定分別移送台南監獄、台南看守所及雲林一監的軍囚，經台南、雲林地檢署檢察官核對資料，認定應屬第二階段移交對象，當場決定拒收，退還軍方原車送回軍監，因此總計今天只有240名軍囚，陸續在10時50分前移交普通監獄。

邱和順廿六年前綁架當年九歲的男童陸正，向家屬勒贖，邱見陸正反抗起殺意，掐昏後持刀刺死。全案更審十一次，邱和順被判死確定。

邱和順前年十二月二日申請寄十六封「個人回憶錄」信函給朋友；看守所認為信函內容影響機關聲譽，要求邱修改，邱和順不服，以所方為被告，提行政訴訟。

邱和順說，書信提到看守所管理員販毒不是空穴來風，媒體也曾報導管理員帶毒品、部分人員遭公懲會懲戒；他認為看守所如果存疑，應先調查書信內容是否屬實，指控所方侵害隱私權、秘密通訊自由和言論自由。

看守所主張，邱和順是社會矚目案件收容人，他的回憶錄標題是「北所風雲錄」，長達十六萬字，與一般「書信」迥然不同；邱和順多次在接見時，要求友人透過某團體協助出版，所方依監獄行刑法規定，以「稿件」型態檢閱。

看守所說，書信提及邱和順的舍房主管販毒、收容人集體吸毒、地下黑金流通，但邱無法證明，才請他修改以免觸犯誹謗罪；邱聲稱舍房十人有九人吸毒，如依他所述，所內吸毒人數達兩千七百人，如此易使其他收容人誤認身處毒窟。

合議庭審理認為，由回憶錄可知販毒主管是誰，嚴重詆毀主管名譽、看守所形象和管理能力，這種言論自由不在人權保障範圍。受刑人很可能不在乎誹謗的民刑事責任，若不服管教就可杜撰主管賣毒，將很難教化，認定看守所處分合法。
