市長參選人黃景泰弟弟黃景南昨天代兄出席華山基金會的老人慶中秋活動，他誠懇握住每位獨居老人的雙手，並向大家保證，黃景泰會讓基隆市的老人「老有所養」，未來一定會實施65歲以上老人假牙補助福利，未來最高補助4萬元，讓每位長者都可以吃得快樂，同時希望能夠讓基隆市老人都能更幸福。

　　Rockstar Games 宣佈，PS4／Xbox One 版《俠盜獵車手 V》（Grand Theft Auto V）日本上市日期確定為 2014 年 12 月 11 日，售價 7,400 日幣，PC 版則與歐美地區同步於 2015 年 1 月 27 日推出，售價未定。

行政院江宜樺16時將在行政院新聞中心召開行政院處理劣質豬油事件記者會，這場記者會也將透過網路直播。

江宜樺上午第四度舉行擴大食安會議，鎖定在食管法修法，油品流向等制度面管理，及執行面強化作為，並討論食品雲建置，江宜樺下午將親自主持記者會，對外宣布新的食品安全措施。包括負責督導食品安全的政委蔣丙煌、衛福部及環保署都會出席。

《經濟日報》與南山人壽合作，今日公布2014縣市幸福指數調查，過去曾發生強拆大埔等爭議事件的苗栗縣，仍以居住條件佳、每人居住空間最大、家戶聯網比率高等指標，拿下第3幸福的縣市，苗栗縣長劉政鴻今日出席接受表揚。

劉政鴻致詞時則表示，近年苗栗縣人口數成長6000多人，推動工業園區收到成效，就業也有所提升，招商也招了相當8000多億的產值，感謝大家的幫忙。

劉政鴻指出，過去談到科技走廊，從桃園、新竹，就直接到台中，在苗栗形成缺口，他上任以後，積極推動科學園區及工業區開發，創造8000多億產值及8萬多個就業機會。在農業部分，他上任時，休閒農業區只有1個，現在增加到10個，至於休閒農場則多達62個，現在還在申辦中則有13個，他希望能讓苗栗的好山好水，都讓大家看到。

縣市幸福指數以健康、工作生活平衡、教育、社群關係、政府治理、環境品質、安全、就業、收入、居住、生活滿意度分項共11項指標，主辦單位表示，苗栗縣排名年年上升，已經連續3年居前5強，整體表現拿下60.5分。

不過《經濟日報》表示，苗栗縣民對教育成就僅73.5％滿意度，對應客觀的教育指標分數也偏低，縣民對環境品質的主觀滿意度也相對較低。（王立德／台北報導）

春水堂因為使用鄭記油蔥酥，有五種產品染餿下架，今天起全台門市半價優惠3天補償，還限內用才能享有折扣。儘管此舉引起不少爭議，但許多消費者把握難得降價時刻，紛至店內消費，台中春水堂包括勤美誠品門市、新時代門市等中午起就出現爆滿排隊人潮，接近下班時刻，等候隊伍更是一路延伸，甚至比假日人潮還要多。儘管產品染餿，但春水堂不似其他店家提出退費機制，以降價因應，消費者出乎意料地反應熱烈，直呼「春水堂這招好強！」，堪稱降價贖罪策略奏效。（游瓊華／台中報導）
