   【都會中心／台中報導】台中市長胡志強今天於市政會議中再對「臺中市酒醉駕車防制自治條例」草案遭議會退回表達遺憾，並稱據統計今年一至六月全國擴大取締酒駕結果，「死亡酒駕」比去年同期均減少，但台北市今年上半年死亡酒駕只有1件，是否與公共運輸發達有關？相關局處應再分析原因、見賢思齊。

胡志強說，今年春節台中市推行酒後代駕措施，民眾可撥打1999申請代駕，每天平均有10件代駕申請，民間公益機構也捐助許多善款響應，應繼續專款專用。

   身兼臺中市公安會報委員的臺中地檢署主任檢察官王捷拓指出，刑法第185條之3所規範的並非只針對酒駕，還包括「毒駕」，有許多吸毒開車比酒駕更嚴重，凡重大車禍發生一定要針對肇事者採尿檢查，且酒駕強制採尿因屬於非侵入性措施，不需經過檢察官或法官同意；但侵入性抽血依刑事訴訟法規定，就必須先經過檢察官或法官發票始可強制實施，但只要快速申請，即可快速審核。

台東一隻錢鼠今天晚間被驗出狂犬病毒，農委會主委陳保基直說「比狗被驗出還嚴重」，因為狗貓會咬老鼠，對防疫恐更加麻煩，這也是繼日前鼬獾被驗出狂犬病毒後，首例狂犬病毒擴散到其他動物的案例。

陳保基說，該鼠昨天在咬傷民眾後，屍體今天被送到農委會家畜衛生試驗所進行檢驗，檢驗結果晚間九點出爐，呈現陽性，被咬傷民眾則已經施打疫苗。

全台聞狂犬病色變，目前已知都是鼬獾被驗出狂犬病毒，但台東縣一名李姓婦人昨天遭自家土狗咬傷，加上該土狗1個多月前曾疑似咬過果子狸後性情大變，引發外界高度關注狂犬病毒是否已經擴散到跟民眾生活密切的犬隻。

結果這隻土狗檢驗結果還沒公布，反而是另隻錢鼠先被驗出狂犬病毒。

【綜合報導】天主教教宗方濟各(Pope Francis)日前首度出訪巴西，並在里約熱內盧的沙灘上主持「世界青年日」(World Youth Day)，現場有超過3百萬人參加，場面壯觀。就在稍早，他搭乘專機返回教廷梵諦岡途中，在飛機上與隨行記者舉行長約80分鐘會談時，方濟各首度觸碰到了天主教廷最為敏感的「同性戀」話題，他說自己不會介意教士們的性傾向，「如果這個人是同性戀，但他追尋真主，有著良善的意志，我憑什麼來評判他？」

由於退位後的榮譽教宗本篤十六世(Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI)曾經專文批判「有同性戀傾向的人不該從事教職」，被視為教廷對於同性戀者的基本態度，方濟各這段談話會不會被當作梵諦岡對同性戀的新態度，目前還很難定論。據同機的記者表示，教宗精神很好，幾乎有問必答，部閃避任何問題，他甚至還感謝對他提出「傳說梵諦岡有個專為同性戀神父準備的大廳」問題的記者，讓他可以有機會談談這個問題。多年來，教廷深受「同志」與「孌童」等性醜聞困擾，媒體公關對於記者在這方面的提問，大多低調簡化處理。
