【綜合報導】曾在2012年3月，射殺16名阿富汗平民的40歲美國士兵勞勃貝爾斯(Robert Bales)，在周五被美國軍事陪審團判處終身監禁，並不准假釋。

曾被派駐伊拉克及阿富汗的美軍上士貝爾斯，在6月承認犯下殺人罪，讓他得以避過死刑。

貝爾斯所殺的16名阿富汗平民大部份是婦孺及小孩，他於周四為自己的罪行公開道歉，他在聽取判刑後沒有流露任何情緒。

【綜合報導】英國一名育有3子的32歲女子吉本絲(Brittany Gibbons)，雖擁有美滿家庭，卻沒有美好性生活，原因是她對於自己的裸體有恐懼感，現在決定試著和丈夫天天做愛來解決問題。

吉本絲說，她在生下3個孩子之後，就對自己的身材不滿意，「我大腿變粗，肚子很難看，已經沒有性感身材可言」。吉本絲說，丈夫是個很性感的人，但某天對她說：「我已經一年沒看到你的全裸狀態了。」這時吉本絲才發現自己的美滿性生活早已失去。

現在吉本絲決定開始解決這項問題，她也希望在丈夫的協助下，開始恢復性生活，「我希望這一年的天天做愛計畫，可以讓我忘掉變性感的想法，也可以讓我在脫衣服的時候，我的大腦不再告訴我『我是傻瓜』」。

【綜合報導】伊拉克首都巴格達北部周五又傳自殺炸彈攻擊，炸彈客在人聲鼎沸的公園引爆炸彈，至少造成26死55傷。

伊拉克從4月遜尼派抗議陣營遭血腥掃蕩後，就不斷傳出炸彈攻擊，數月來已有超過3千人死亡。

「雙英國是會議」破局，「馬蘇辯論」即將上場。針對兩岸服貿協議的爭議，公共電視近期將邀四報一社共同主辦辯論會，邀請身兼國民黨主席的馬英九總統、民進黨主席蘇貞昌辯論，雙方已表示願意參加。

馬總統認為，就重大政策面對民意檢驗，是政府首長與政黨領袖的責任；蘇貞昌也表示，真理愈辯愈明，願意接受挑戰。這場「馬蘇辯論」預計九月登場。

根據旺旺中時民調中心調查顯示，百分之六十三的民眾希望兩黨主席能就兩岸服貿協議議題公開辯論，泛綠支持者與反對簽署的民眾，贊成公開辯論的比率均超過七成，比泛藍民眾和贊成簽署者高。媒體前天詢問雙方意願，馬總統第一時間表示樂觀其成，民進黨方面則主張回歸國會實質審查。

不過，蘇貞昌昨天表示，藉由公開辯論，將讓真理愈辯愈明，他願意接受辯論挑戰，他還隔空嗆聲：「辯論是好事，只怕馬總統不敢！」

蘇貞昌說，馬總統當初以「黑箱作業」方式簽署服貿協議，很多民眾完全不清楚，若能藉公開辯論，讓全民了解攸關這麼多人利害的事情，這是民主國家的好事，「不知道馬總統會不會想讓人民知道、敢讓人民知道，敢出來辯論？」

馬總統昨天指示總統府發言人李佳霏正面回應，重申「樂觀其成、配合促成」的態度。李佳霏表示，兩岸服務貿易協議是人民關心的重大議題，透過辯論，讓民眾掌握更多服務貿易協議的資訊，有助於釐清事實、充分討論及凝聚社會共識。

馬總統已指示由總統府副秘書長羅智強擔任辯論協調連絡人。羅智強表示，目前府方對辯論的日期、時間、程序、形式，都沒有預設立場，府方將靜候媒體的邀約，若要雙方進一步協調辯論的進行事宜，在公平合理的原則下，府方會充分配合、協助促成服貿辯論。

民進黨發言人王閔生表示，辯論的意義在於讓社會大眾更清楚協議內容，「若馬總統願意辯論，盼他聽進去人民聲音，並尊重人民意見」，否則再怎麼談，也只是流於形式。至於辯論的形式，希望循「雙英ECFA辯論」前例，由雙方各自發表意見、互相提問。
