針對勞委會基本工資審議委員會微調基本工資，全國產業總工會表達強烈不滿，強調如此調整幅度完全無視於我國目前之基本工資遠低於基本生活所需應有之水準，甚至連消費者物價指數都追不上，基層勞工等於被實質減薪，也公然違背馬總統當初承諾要每年開會檢討的勞動政見。

全產總表示，總統馬英九接受電視台專訪有關年輕人薪資低、看不到未來的情況，才剛表達，年輕人薪資太低沒辦法用一個方法一次全部解決包括年輕人低薪等問題，他感到很歉疚。沒想到基本工資的審議結果又再度甩了勞工一個耳光，尤其基本工資十年以來的調幅僅僅只能勉強與物價相當，無法達到《經濟社會文化權利國際公約》所要求的「維持勞工及其家庭基本生活所需」的水準，過去只調物價的幅度等於是實質凍漲基本工資。

然而今年度的審議結果連物價都守不住！101年消費者物價指數增加1.93％、102年1-6月也已經上漲了1.31％，依此標準來看，明年7月1日調整226元，根本是實質上讓基本工資大幅倒退，再加上「自103年1月1日起，年度消費者物價指數年增率累計達（含）3％以上時，再行召開下一次基本工資審議委員會」的附帶條件，打破每年第三季檢討的現行規定，等於替資方製造了「以時間換取實質減薪5％以上」的空間。

基本工資的審議年年在胡亂喊價中落幕，從未考量基本工資的水準是否足以維持勞工家庭的基本生活，官資聯手夾殺勞工，面對月薪僅僅微幅調整1.19％，每月增加226元，根本不夠勞工繳付各種不斷翻漲的油電、糧食等生活費用，更不可能合理改善底層勞工的基本生活。執政者應該勇於捍衛自己在選舉時的承諾，並積極兌現勞工所期待的「尊嚴勞動」，避免勞工再度被羞辱。
