【張欽／台北報導】接任法務部長的行政院政務委員羅瑩雪，上午接受訪問，面對死刑執行議題時說：「若在任內有必須執行的死刑，該做的事不會推拖。」對此廢死聯盟執行長林欣怡回應說：「若部長執意執行死刑，必須確保不會發生錯誤，也不會再次造成如江國慶等冤案的悲劇，希望部長能好好思考這個問題。」
 
林欣怡還指出，法務部是2公約主管機關，新任部長上任後應面對如何落實公約要求，並總結專家結論性意見，包含執行死刑、迫遷議等人權議題，林欣怡認為，法務部這段時間做得很糟糕，期許羅瑩雪能正視這些問題，不要帶頭違法。

【邱中岳／新北報導】硬漢化身樂手！新北市警察局1997年成立台灣首支警察樂隊，該樂隊曾經受邀到澳門、日本、香港等地表演交流，新北市如果有重大節慶或警方犯罪預防，也都會請他們上陣演出！
 
警方表示，該樂隊1行約50人，每周都會抽空練團。為了讓同仁一飽耳福，分享警察樂隊苦練成果，也將以樹林分局為出發點，巡迴至新北各分局演奏；今天下午3時，將在樹林分局聯合勤教時表演，讓警察同仁在工作之餘，也能藉由音樂舒壓。
