【綜合報導】針對監聽風暴後出現廢除特偵組聲音，東華大學華文系教授許又方表示，如果特偵組能秉持公平正義的精神為民除害，那麼廢掉實在可惜；但話說回來，倘使其容易遭政治因素綁架，乃致淪為政爭的工具，那麼豈能留下這宛如「東廠」的毒瘤？更何況，辦大案非得靠特偵組不可？尋常檢調機構無法勝任？
 
許又方投書《蘋果日報》「辦大案何必要特偵」一文表示，20多年前，台北地檢署檢察官許阿桂調查，華隆集團疑似勾結不肖官員，賤價出售股票給時任交通部長的張建邦之女與淡大游姓建築系教授案，由於本案疑有高官涉入，許阿桂經辦之初即受到極大的政治壓力，甚至被監委彈劾，或被移送公懲會記大過處分，但許檢察官並未因此退縮，並因此獲得民意全面支持。最後，交通部長張建邦為此下台，華隆集團負責人翁大銘、翁有銘兄弟遭到收押。
 
許又方強調，一件「大案」，落到一位原本籍籍無名的檢察官手中，卻也因她大無畏的膽識而使利益勾結的官商踢到鐵板。如此看來，辦大案端看執其事者的魄力、膽識與決心，何必一定要有跨單位的組織？相反的，就算有跨單位組織，欠缺挑戰威權的勇氣，能辦什麼案？

【綜合報導】桃園機場貨運站昨中午在2箱進口快遞內，查獲40枚已安裝引信威力強大的黃色炸藥（硝甘結合TNT），這是國內首宗查獲已安裝引信的TNT炸彈案件。

據《自由時報》報導，這40枚TNT炸藥（每枚半公斤），是昨天上午在桃園機場貨運站的快遞機放倉被查獲，由於1斤TNT炸藥就足以炸毀汽車，這批炸彈走私時機與雙十國慶日接近，而快遞收貨貨主是蘇姓貨主，國安及治安單位正全力尋找蘇某查明其意圖。

【陳俐妏╱台北報導】瑞信證券表示，過去幾個月在景氣循環類股反彈之際，科技類股表現也符合預期，今年以來優於大盤表現約5.5%，不過仍多以具防禦性題材的軟體和網路應用優於硬體表現，投資組合中青睞F-TPK等8檔。
 
瑞信證券指出，亞太科技類股獲利已有改善，明年也可望見到成長態勢，包括印度IT產業、中國/韓國網路產業。不過未來幾年科技類股表現好壞參半，原因是受到消費性電子周期的影響，主要成長力道將來自企業支出相關類股、記憶底和中低階智慧機等，至於LED照明應用、太陽能電池也可關注。
 
瑞信證券調整亞太科技類股投資組合，較看好Naver和百度網路相關族群，台廠中顯示器相關類股首選F-TPK(3673)、瑞儀(6176)。下游硬體青睞可成(2474)。半導體族群看好聯發科(2454)、日月光(2311)、台積電(2330)、頎邦(6147)。也加入晶電(2448)進入投資組合。

【綜合報導】根據美國有線電視新聞網CNN與民調機構ORC周一發布的民調，46%美國民眾認為，若政府關門，是共和黨國會議員的錯，36%民眾則認為歐巴馬應該負責，13%認為兩邊都該打。
 
高達69%的人認為，共和黨像「被寵壞的小孩」，任性阻擋預算案通過；58%認為民主黨也很任性，認為總統歐巴馬（Barack Obama）任性的則有49%。60%民眾認為共和黨不應為了反對歐巴馬健保改革方案，而阻擋政府預算案。

這項民調顯示，共和黨的強硬路線未能取得多數美國人的認同，後續效應可能在未來的選舉中浮現。
