【周佩萱╱綜合外電報導】廉航易捷航空(easyJet Airline)，一架從馬爾他飛抵英國曼徹斯特的班機，落地後一名52歲的乘客疑似因酒醉行為異常，不只挑釁機長要和他單挑，還在眾目睽睽下全身脫光，他的女友當場呼他一巴掌，還是未能打醒他。
 
這起事件發生在9月26日，男子早在飛行途中就喝醉暴走，朝其他乘客罵髒話，機長還親自到客艙安撫他，落地後男子更變本加厲，還脫光衣服，之後男子穿回衣服進入機場大廳，據報導指出，這名男子還在航廈外當眾小便，最後遭警方電擊並逮捕，才終於平息這場風波。

【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】同性戀在波斯灣六國，包括巴林、科威特、卡達、阿曼、沙烏地阿拉伯和阿拉伯聯合大公國，早就被列為是違法，現在科威特更進一步控管同性戀，聲稱研發出可偵測同性戀的醫學測試，一但被測出是同性戀，將禁止入境科威特以及其他5個波灣國家。
 
科威特公共衛生部長米卡爾(Yousouf Midkar)受訪時表示，計畫移民、暫居或在波灣六國旅遊以及工作的外國人士，都必須接受同性戀檢測，通過測驗者才能入境，在科威特21歲以下涉及同性戀活動的人，最高可處以10年有期徒刑。
 
全球目前有78個國家將男同性戀視為違法，49個國家禁止女同性戀，同性戀在伊朗、沙烏地阿拉伯、蘇丹、葉門和茅利塔尼亞這5個國家，則是會處以死刑。

【大紀元2013年10月09日訊】（大紀元記者彭瑞蘭台灣新竹報導）新竹縣警方9日宣佈偵破二週前發生於峨眉鄉的陶瓷工廠強盜案，起出外幣、改造手槍1把、子彈、毒品、普洱茶餅等證物，將嫌犯移送法辦。新竹縣長邱鏡淳、議員上官秋燕、竹東分局警友站主任林高照、山友會總幹事傅志垣，頒發破案獎金。

邱鏡淳表示，峨眉鄉是台灣好行獅山線的觀光點，警方將嫌犯繩之以法，對新竹縣努力打造樂齡宜居的幸福城市、有指標性的意義。

警方表示， 9月23日2時15分，峨眉鄉○○陶藝工場，遭4名分別頭戴鴨舌帽、毛帽子矇面歹徒，持油壓剪破壞一樓鐵窗侵入，持疑似開山刀等控制屋內被害人，再以毛巾矇其眼、膠帶綑綁手腳，搜刮財物後逃逸。損失約台幣100餘萬元(含外幣)、陳年普洱茶餅一批。

警察局獲報後，8日在劉得為檢察官指揮下，專案小組動員50名警力，分別在桃園平鎮市、楊梅市及宜蘭五結鄉、羅東鎮等地監控。平鎮翁嫌遭專案人員制伏，逮捕5名嫌犯，查扣贓證物及毒品1批。

警力在王姓楊梅住處攻堅，王嫌企圖引爆瓦斯，經消防隊向屋內灑水柱，心戰喊話，軟化犯嫌心防，同住4名嫌犯皆就擒，查扣子彈12顆。警方於宜蘭縣拘提高姓及李姓嫌犯。共拘提12名犯罪嫌疑人，以涉嫌強盜、槍砲彈藥刀械管制條例、毒品等案偵辦。

【國際中心╱綜合外電報導】海地霍亂受害者的代表律師，9日通過紐約地方法院起訴聯合國，要求聯合國賠償霍亂受害者，索賠金額達數十億美元。

律師聲稱，海地百餘年來並無霍亂疫情，而2010年10月在當地爆發的霍亂，是由聯合國尼泊爾籍維和士兵帶入。這起霍亂疫情導致至少8300人死亡，約68萬人染病，海地霍亂受害者方面要求聯合國，賠償每位死者家庭10萬美元，每位染病者5萬美元。

聯合國秘書長副發言人哈克當天在被問及此事時，表示聯合國已就霍亂疫情，協助海地政府和民眾進行應對。他表示聯合國未來將繼續提供相關援助。但哈克以此事已進入司法程序為由，拒絕發表進一步評論。先前聯合國方面以《聯合國特權和豁免公約》為依據，表示相關法律申訴，將不予受理。

【黃仲瑜／新北報導】凌晨在淡水好樂迪KTV發生酒客鬧事砸店，KTV的一樓櫃台落地玻璃被酒客用滅火器砸毀，現場地面滿碎玻璃，很多還在排隊等候包廂的客人看到這個情況，紛紛躲避逃出以免被波及。
 
好樂迪員工表示，砸店的原是在店內消費的客人，一行人約8~10人，凌晨疑似因為深夜淡水分局到場臨檢引起不悅，結完帳要離去時，突然情緒失控拿了放在1樓櫃檯旁的滅火器，就瘋狂朝大門玻璃亂砸，這群人用滅火器砸門口玻璃後，滅火器的乾粉噴灑整個一樓地板，導致原本店家提供給等候客人的沙發全部都沾滿乾粉，這群人在砸店後警方隨即趕到，目前警方已介入處理中。

【李政遠／雲林報導】大埤鄉嘉興村一戶三樓民宅上的鴿舍，下午5點左右突然發生火警，熊熊大火黑煙直竄雲霄，遠在5公里外國道1號斗南收費站清晰可見。由於起火點位於3樓緊鄰隔壁鄰居鐵皮屋，雲林縣消防局獲報立即派出大埤、斗南等消防分隊多部水箱車及10多名警義消前往灌救。被燒死的鴿子，許多都是曾獲冠軍的賽鴿，甚至有人出價70萬元要做為種鴿，飼主沈先生初估損失超過百萬元。

對於起火的原因，消防局初步研判，疑似電線走火引發火災，真正起火原因還需待火場鑑識報告出爐。

【大紀元2013年10月09日訊】（大紀元記者周成英國報導）本週四（10月10日）起，溫暖而且晴朗的天氣將嘎然而止。隨著一股冷空氣的到來，英國部份地區將出現暴雪、雨夾雪、霜凍天氣，同時最低氣溫降到5度左右，蘇格蘭部份地區的溫度甚至會下降到2度。

剛剛過去的週末，許多地區都是晴朗的天氣，人們在公園裡享受溫暖的陽光。但是，這股來自歐洲大陸南部的暖風在週四與一股來自北方的冷空氣相遇，導致英國大部份地區氣溫急劇下降。

氣象局預計，週四當天，英國南部的溫度為12至13度，比週一低了六七度，週四晚間，許多地區將出現霜凍，尤其是西南部地區。蘇格蘭和英格蘭東北部份地區還會出現大風和強降雨，這股降雨帶 還會向南移動，到達東安格利亞一帶。蘇格蘭高地將會出現雨夾雪。

氣象局的發言表示：「我們經歷了不合時節的溫暖天氣，這將要恢復到每年的這個季節應有的天氣了，低溫、降雨和大風。情況將會變得很不同，人們會感受到。我現在還沒有開暖氣，但是可能是再加一件毛衫的時候了。」
