以「生活給我的詩」為主題的「2013台北詩歌節」，19日至11月10日長達3週時間，要讓台北城沐浴在詩生活中。

「2013台北詩歌節」今天下午在紀州庵文學森林舉辦開跑記者會，台北市文化局長劉維公表示，舉辦逾10年的台北詩歌節，不僅讓詩人及詩迷聯歡，更希望將文學與各項主題及藝術形式連結，秉持著放眼世界、立足在地的精神，引介國內外重要詩人交流。

策展人鴻鴻與楊佳嫻表示，今年主題「生活給我的詩」強調生活的能量，相信文學是從生命經驗中萃取出來，而透過文學呈現，更能說出生活萬象背後的現實與本質，「生活是詩的重要資源，從生命而來的詩使得人類生活更加廣大而親切。」

「2013台北詩歌節」活動內容包括3場大型「詩演出」，19日晚上在中山堂光復廳的開幕演出「千百條河流的風景」，點出詩及身體的流動性；11月2日晚間在中山堂中正廳由歌手、詩人共同演出「你敢有聽著咱的歌」，展現他們與社會對話的態度與能量。

11月8日晚間在中山堂光復廳，則是邀請俄羅斯著名詩歌吟唱家葉蓮娜‧芙荷洛娃（Elena Frolova）與台灣音樂人王榆鈞同台的「天空比旗幟更藍」，呈現北方冷陸與熱帶島嶼的詩樂風情。

目前3場演出票券均已索票完畢，但演出當天現場將會開放民眾候補進場。

【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】澳洲人權團體「Walk Free Foundation」，17日公布「2013全球奴隸指數」(Global Slavery Index 2013)，調查162個國家，結果顯示目前約有2980萬人，因為貧困、傳統習俗和反奴隸執法不力，生活猶如奴隸，像是背負債務、被迫或被賣掉結婚、還是奴役童工等等。
 
按照人數來看的話，印度有近1400萬人生活在猶如奴隸的狀態下，是全球第一高，第二高則是中國大陸有近295萬人，巴基斯坦有約213萬人位居第三高，按照比例來看的話，西非國家茅利塔尼亞，全國380萬人中有15萬人，約是4%生活如奴隸，為全球第一高，第2到第5分別是海地、巴基斯坦、印度和尼泊爾。

報告中指出特別是在西非和南亞，許多民眾出生在困苦艱辛的環境中難以翻身，還有人口走私販賣和廉價勞工等問題，印度、中國、巴基斯坦和奈及利亞這5個國家是全球奴役問題最嚴重的，5個國家的奴役人數總和，就佔了全球4分之3。人權團體表示儘管世界文明進步，但依舊有許多人生活在不文明的社會中，呼籲全球政府落實改善奴役問題。
