【蕭文康／新竹報導】台積電（2330）董事長張忠謀今早在台積電運動會中向在場員工信心喊話，他說公司目前總員工增加至4萬人，雖台積電營運還是受季節性影響，通常每年第2~3季比較好，而第4及第1季成長比較慢，「但我們一年會比一年好」，因此絕對不會有無薪假、裁員，明年4月正常加薪，現場員工因此向張忠謀熱烈歡呼。
 
另外，張忠謀說台積電還有一張底牌未掀，那就是太陽能及LED事業，近幾年中在董事長蔡力行領導下，在過去一段時間發展最新的技術成效逐步顯現，明年會有很好的業績，希望在未來幾年當中可以上市。
 
張忠謀說，今年運動會主題是「我愛台積、再創奇蹟」，過去運動會常換主題，但這幾年不必換，因為這主題及口號這是永久性的。

【邱中岳／新北報導】蔣友青昨天晚間11時許，交保外出後再度返家時，發現記者於大樓門外守候，主動上前打招呼，並表示1年多前與蔣友柏大吵一架，便再也沒有交談，激動地表示「友柏傷了我的心」，他不知道自己是被踢出家庭，還是他自己選擇離開，說完便轉身快步離開。

今天上午9時許，蔣友柏送女兒小玫瑰去上學，蔣友柏十分保護女兒，先讓女兒上車後，才接受媒體訪問，蔣友柏僅表示：「我弟弟比較愛講，我比較不愛講，我弟弟已經成年了，讓他自己去講。」

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】最近來名黎巴嫩的臉書網友賈倫，將一段短片放上網，內容是其朋友哈蒙德(Hassan Hammoud)把活貓放入微波爐烤。雖然那隻貓最後安然無恙，但短片放上臉書之後，受到其他用戶的猛烈抨擊，引起公憤。

網友認為他們的做法非常殘忍，看到無辜的小貓掙扎後感到恐懼及噁心，最後臉書也將短片移除。賈倫解釋，當時2人只是感到無聊，才將貓嘗試放入微波爐，但有網友表示，準備向黎巴嫩當地的動物協會作出設訴。

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】美國新罕布什爾州一名火雞場老闆摩雷特(Joe Morette)，他用獨特的方法飼養火雞，就是讓火雞們喝啤酒。

摩雷特說，喝過啤酒的火雞，其肉質會更加肥美又多汁。摩雷特自1993年起給火雞喝啤酒，他說曾在炎熱的7月，他和員工開了幾罐啤酒，一隻火雞跘倒其中一罐，並喝起啤酒來，於是他開始讓火雞喝啤酒。

苗栗縣下星期起連續5個星期，先後有銅鑼鄉杭菊芋頭文化節及十場次免費陶藝觀光體驗課程，歡迎大家到苗栗，體驗杭菊、陶藝文化及觀光產業。

銅鑼鄉九湖台地的杭菊盛開，今年受到風災的影響減產，不過，農會在周邊田地種植波斯菊、百日草等花卉，田野交織出美麗的圖樣，農會請來圓仔雕像，還有杭菊產銷班班長韓順雄教導大家如何分辨銅鑼在地與進口杭菊，名廚葉正伸更以當地杭菊、芋頭入菜，引人垂涎。

鄉農會總幹事曾義孝說，今年的杭菊開得非常漂亮，雖受到進口菊花殘留農藥影響，但農會推出銅鑼鄉杭菊團體標章，供消費者認明選購。

銅鑼杭菊芋頭節15日起3天在九湖村九湖休閒農場登場，今年除了有杭菊賞花專區外，還安排菊開演笑歌舞、杭菊免費暢飲、親子採菊、彩繪菊娃、手工香皂DIY等活動。

16日、17日上午11點30分到12點還有菊芋美食，及苗栗縣養雞協會本土雞肉免費品嘗，農會從上午8點30分到下午4點30分在銅鑼火車站提供賞菊專車接駁服務。

鄰近苗栗縣造橋鄉香格里拉樂園推出「菊祥如芋」住宿專案，11月8日到12月31日入住桐花山莊，平日雙人房2680元、4人房3680元，並贈送中西式早餐、入園門票、杭菊主題茶點等。辦理年票只要1000元，明年無限入園遊樂、兩人同行申辦，還贈送蜜月套房招待券，預約專線（037）561369；相關活動資訊洽詢（037）985187轉17。

長期投入宜蘭文化調查與研究工作的邱水金，今天獲頒「宜蘭文化獎」。

評審認為，邱水金30多年來，在宜蘭史田野調查研究、宜蘭史前遺址的發掘、北管戲曲音樂調查、振興噶瑪蘭族文化、協助噶瑪蘭族正名運動等方面，有所成就，足以表揚，頒授第5屆宜蘭文化獎，以表敬意。

縣府指出，宜蘭文化獎每兩年舉辦1次，今年邁入第5屆，設置目的是要表彰對宜蘭文化形塑與維護有特殊貢獻者。

今天的頒獎典禮選擇在宜蘭縣史館舉行，花蓮縣「豐濱新社部落」的噶瑪蘭族人受邀，演出「噶瑪蘭之歌」揭開序幕與祝賀。

日本亞東親善協會會長大江康弘，今天率同協會成員拜訪礁溪鄉，與鄉長林錫忠及地方人士會談，感謝雙方推動礁溪鄉湯仔城溫泉產業暨觀光發展協會與日本和歌山縣白濱溫泉國際觀光交流協議會締結友好協議。

礁溪是重要的國內外熱門景點，以溫泉聞名，大江康弘代表，贈送礁溪鄉八重櫻、默染櫻、粉紅吉野櫻，紀念友誼，林錫忠表示，將擇適當時機，廣植在鄉內的觀光景點，並妥善照護，讓情誼如櫻花般美麗。

【胡治言／綜合報導】經濟部標準檢驗局抽檢市售15款精油，發現其中有13件和國家標準中的精油主要成分未完全相符。

今日出版的《蘋果》報導，標檢局昨公布市售精油抽檢結果，15件精油中有13件和國家標準中的精油主要成分未完全相符，甚至有5件和國家標準完全不符，其中包括香草集、伊聖詩、荷柏園等知名品牌。標檢局說，因國家標準僅訂有精油的主要成分，無法涵蓋所有成分，故無法就檢驗結果認定業者摻假，「但相符比率偏低，確實有疑義。」

消基會董事長張智剛痛批，精油單價昂貴，政府卻未積極研訂相關標準，置消費者權益於不顧。 民眾黃小姐說，精油價格都很高，政府應告訴民眾哪些廠商是誠實、哪些騙人。

【張博亭／台北報導】這次油品事件被政府研判為食安燈號中的綠燈，即風險最低，屬標示不符，無礙健康，外界批政府太樂觀，衛生福利部部長邱文達今指出，燈號只是分級，這次案件屬民生詐欺，所以定調為綠燈。  

邱文達表示，從昨日開始，所有的食用油品一定不能有摻偽、假冒或標示不實等情況，一旦發現就會加重處罰、追究到底，截至昨止，許多縣市衛生局在市面上已找不到不合格油品。媒體追問邱文達是否願意為食安連環爆負責，邱指現是困難時候，一定負責任把事情做好；至於有沒有下台打算，邱文達僅回應「謝謝」。
