【大紀元2013年11月10日訊】（大紀元記者張妮澳洲悉尼編譯報導）澳洲億萬富翁詹姆斯•帕克（James Packer）在悉尼內城區巴朗加魯（Barangaroo）興建悉尼第二賭場的計劃目前又有積極進展。開發商聯盛集團（Lend Lease）計劃將該賭場的酒店位置移到原先保留作為公園用地的地皮上，這也是令帕克心儀的地點。巴朗加魯交付局（Barangaroo Delivery Authority）近日已對此計劃表示支持。

據《悉尼晨鋒報》報導，帕克打算在這預算15億澳元的賭場酒店綜合設施上建設80個豪華公寓。這一悉尼最高建築之一的六星級酒店將擁有海港和悉尼大橋的壯麗景觀。

這一規劃的細節還未完全確定下來，預計大樓有70層，高250米。巴朗加魯交付局對該計劃的首肯，增加了計劃在紐省政府獲得通過的可能性。

巴朗加魯交付局局長塔巴特（John Tabart）說，這個「標誌性」的地點將為酒店提供「最佳的經濟效益」。他說：「酒店需要建在絕佳的地點，內部還需要有現代化的公寓設計。而公寓只能建在這裡，建在海港上行不通。」

聯盛集團表示，酒店部份將有多達350個房間。帕克的皇冠公司（Crown Limited）已確認了公寓的數量。

今年5月中標的這一酒店設計展現出帕克想在酒店上加蓋公寓的雄心。最頂端的樓層將作為公寓和賭場，酒店將建在較低樓層。

曾是設計師的悉尼市政官員曼特（John Mant）認為，這將是一個帶有賭場和酒店的大型公寓建築。他說：「不會有人住在裡面。最終會變成像在悉尼環形碼頭的Toaster大樓一樣，所有單元房的業主都是海外投資者。」

【呂健豪／新北報導】昨天東北角風景區發生近年來最嚴重的溺水案件，造成8人死亡，新北市府對此今天上午召開跨局處協調會議，會同東北角暨宜蘭海岸國家風景區管理處進行研議，討論該地區未來的相關安全措施配置。

風管處處長許正隆表示，將會召及相關單位進行會商，對於該地區的管理措施將考量天候因素，考慮在瘋狗浪發生機率高的季節做有限度的管制，而設置護欄、救生衣等措施也是選項，但細節仍需與專家、學者根據地形地貌做更詳盡的討論。

新北市副市長侯友宜對於這起意外表示，市府將為罹難者與家屬爭取最高的撫卹，並強調將嚴格執行北海岸安全協調會報，至於是否進行國賠，則由檢察官調查了解，釐清這起案件屬於意外或人為疏失。而是否對樹林社區大學追究相關責任，侯友宜說已責成教育局，對社區大學的負責單位進行檢討，若確有疏失將會進行處分。

【呂健豪／新北報導】有關昨天東北角龍洞礁石步道發生的8死溺水案件，今天上午新北市與召集東北角海岸國家風景區管理處召開協調會，除討論罹難者相關撫恤外，也針對未來該區相關安全管理設施進行研議。

風管處處長許正隆會後接受媒體採訪時，稱昨天的意外案件，風管處是「道義上的責任」，基於道義會協調相關單位，替罹難者爭取最高權益；但新北市副市長侯友宜則表示，市府的責任不只是道義，更要去追究到底有沒有相關的疏失與不當，去進行檢討與改善，「相關單位沒有一個能逃避責任」。
