 【王筱君／台北報導】台北市房價漲不停，據《住展》雜誌統計，2013年北市12行政區預售屋與新成屋房價平均漲幅達13.4%，每坪均價83.9萬元，大同區漲幅最大達20.4%，大安區蟬聯全國最貴房價區，每坪均價134.4萬元，較2012年漲5.6%。值得注意的是，漲幅前3名大同、松山與内湖區均非市中心第一環，顯示二環房價補漲力道強。
 
《住展》研發長倪子仁分析，自2011年6月奢侈稅實施以來，衝擊面似乎與房價變化脫勾，房市呈現「價揚量縮」趨勢。

【蔡進男／基隆報導】台北市1名畢姓男子，昨天清晨前往新北市三貂角燈塔迎接曙光，現場湧入大批人群，畢男舉手時碰觸1名年輕女子左胸。女子發現後認為畢男趁機揩油，立即向現場警員報案，畢男解釋說，現場人擠人，右手平舉時，不小心碰到女子胸部，並非故意的，因女子堅持提告，警方訊後依性騷擾防治法將畢男移送法辦。

荷蘭一個從事火星移民的機構2013年12月30日發表消息說，該機構已經從約20萬名的報名者中選出了1058名候選者。該機構稱，今後將透過檢查和訓練等考核，最終選定24人。

根據現代快報報導，從2025年開始，第一批往火星移住4人，此後隔2年增加4人。據悉，所有移住者都是『單程機票』，無法返回地球。

報導稱，火星計劃的首次任務旨在為載人專案測試技術問題。相關公司已經與另外兩家公司達成合作協定，其中一家將負責製造火星登陸器，而另外一家將製造一顆通訊衛星。

【汪智博／台東報導】因推動「南迴醫院」設立成為全國知名人士的台東達仁鄉衛生所主任徐超斌，去年底接獲台東縣衛生局通知，指所服務的達仁衛生所因公共衛生推展成效不佳，調整其原衛生所主任職務為駐在醫師，遺缺由太麻里鄉衛生所主任巴德雄接任。
 
「長官要的是數據，我堅持的是充實偏鄉醫療資源下鄉，達不到長官要求，只能接受。」面對外界質疑遭降職與籌建工作有關？台東縣衛生局長盧道揚澄清，職務調整主要是考量地方需求，無關籌建；徐超斌強調工作雖有調整「絕不影響推動南迴醫院計畫！」
 
縣衛生局係於去年31日通知徐超斌，自今（2）日起降調駐在醫師，主要因素係偏鄉公共衛生推動績效不佳；衛生局長盧道揚表示，他對徐的貢獻非常感佩，但礙於偏鄉首重公共衛生，而其專業在急診臨床醫療，達仁鄉老年人口不到9％，加上在地罹癌、交通意外、肝病致死高，均屬公共衛生領域，為確保鄉民健康及滿足需足，才會進行職務調整。
 
徐超斌說，先前已聽聞可能被調整職務，達仁衛生所的公共衛生分數也非最後，然而「我是基層公務人員，長官說什麼我就做什麼。」他表示確實有人支持他自行在外開業，但是南迴醫院基金會差一千餘萬即可成立，「這是目前最重要的事，不會因此而影響計畫。」強調就算只是駐在醫師，仍會堅持下去。
