史提芬柯瑞雖在第4節狂飆18分，但克雷湯普生全場17投只中3，「浪花兄弟」掀不起巨浪，加上籃網傑克在終場前1.1秒投進絕殺球，令勇士108比110飲恨敗陣。

史提芬柯瑞與克雷湯普生這對「浪花兄弟」在本季幫助勇士打下美好江山，長期高居聯盟龍頭寶座，直到此役落敗後才以半場勝差落後4連勝的老鷹，但46勝12敗仍是西區首席強權。

籃網在比賽結束前4分鐘還保有10分領先優勢，但柯瑞隨即以3顆三分球拉出一波12比2攻勢，幫助勇士追平比數，可惜波格特傳球失誤，導致勇士錯過超前機會。
