元宵節檔期旅客多商機35億

台灣元宵節已成國際重要節慶之一，不僅陸客慕名而來，香港、日本、韓國及東南亞旅客來台人數也相當多，交通部觀光局估算，元宵節期間（約兩周）可吸引30萬外國旅客來台，為我國帶來至少35億元以上的觀光收益。

觀光局官員表示，台灣年節氣氛濃郁，每年這段期間都有大批的中國大陸、日本、香港、韓國等地旅客來台旅遊，特別是在元宵節，台灣有平溪天燈、鹽水蜂炮、台東炸寒單爺和台灣燈會，節目精彩又多樣。官員說，為強化國外旅客來台旅遊意願，觀光局駐外代表處從去年12月就開始宣傳。
