基隆市西定路一名經營雜貨店的41歲簡姓男子昨（15）日上午遭人檢舉路霸，警方獲報前往了解規勸，並未開立罰單。未料簡男竟於中午攜妻女至派出所，淋油欲自焚抗議。

據《蘋果日報》報導，經營雜貨店的簡男將商品擺走廊上，昨日遭民眾檢舉路霸，警方前往了解，好言規勸簡男勿亂擺東西，造成行人不便。未料簡男竟在中午12時許，攜妻子及3位兒女至警所前抗議，他將一桶汽油倒身，高喊著「為什麼不給我條活路！」

幸警方即時制止，簡男並未成功點火，然當時一旁的16歲大女兒雙眼遭汽油潑濺，痛到趴地求救。警方趕緊以大量清水沖洗，再將大女兒送往醫院，目前仍在醫院觀察。

簡男之後被帶往派出所，哭訴自己月賺不多，還要付房租，「你們要給我條活路阿」。而基隆警方則說，當時只有勸說，根本沒開立罰單。
