中選會16日審查蔡正元罷免案投票結果

中選會晚間發布新聞指出，第8屆立法委員蔡正元罷免案，今天投票結果，投票人數不足原選舉區選舉人總數2分之1以上，該罷免案結果為否決，中選會將於16日舉行委員會議，審定罷免案後宣告否決。

中選會指出，蔡正元罷免案投票人總數為31萬7434人，投票人數為7萬9303人，投票率為24.98％，有效票為7萬8933票。其中，同意罷免票數為7萬6737票，占97.22%；不同意罷免票數2196票，占2.78%，無效票為370票，投票人數不足原選舉區選舉人總數2分之1以上，依法該罷免案投票結果為否決。

中選會表示，依公職人員選舉罷免法，立委罷免案投票結果，應由中選會審查，並於投票完畢7日內公告罷免投票結果。

中選會也強調，依選罷免第92條第2項規定，罷免案否決者，在蔡正元(被罷免人)的任期內，不得對其再為罷免案之提議。
