為防禽流感未來禁止禽魚混養

台灣爆發有史以來最嚴重的禽流感疫情，發現許多水禽場和養殖魚混養，農委會宣布，未來復養後，將全面禁止禽魚混養，農民必須選擇要從事養殖漁業或養殖禽類，不能兩者兼養。

根據農委會統計，禽魚混養以台南最多有24場，雲林有4場，這次鵝場幾乎都感染禽流感死光，混養魚的池水中，有大量的染病禽類糞便，為了避免透過池水繼續傳播病毒，兼養的魚也一併銷毀。
