「大鬍子」哈登與布雷索昨上演飆分大賽，布雷索攻下32分，但哈登更神勇，以40分、12籃板、9助攻準「大三元」表現帶領火箭127比118射落太陽。

火箭首節就豪取41分，取得18分領先，太陽在2、3兩節扳回劣勢，反超比數，決勝節，哈登狂砍20分，幫助火箭在客場昇空。

哈登前4次出手落空，接著19投13中，連同前役45分，兩場合得85分，手感熱得發燙。哈登表示，「感謝隊友們有效執行擋切戰術，我才能得到出手機會。」

NBA自1985-86球季以來哈登是第6位有如此神人級的表現，前5人分別是「大鳥」博德、布萊恩、卡特、詹姆斯與洛夫。

火箭總教練麥克海爾說，這是一場瘋狂戰役，很高興球隊能夠扭轉戰局，哈登目前處在絕佳狀態中，感謝他能在危急時刻挺身而出。

布萊索32分是生涯新高，但太陽近6戰吞5敗，暫居西區第8，只領先並列第9的鵜鶘與雷霆1場勝差。
