最新數據顯示，南韓今年1到10月觀光業盈餘刷新紀錄，主要拜中國遊客大增之賜。

南韓文化、運動與觀光部門的數據顯示，1到10月觀光業盈餘達到147億美元，超越去年創下的141億美元空前紀錄。根據目前走勢推估，今年觀光業盈餘可望衝上167億美元，比去年成長17.9%。

這份數據顯示，今年造訪南韓的觀光客人數可望增加15%，達到1,400萬人。

政府官員說：「觀光業收益大增主因是更多中國遊客造訪南韓，而且大肆採購奢侈品。」

截至今年10月，造訪南韓的中國遊客人數比去年激增39%，達到524萬人。平均每位陸客的消費金額為1,738.4美元，高於其他國家遊客的花費。政府估計，今年中國遊客將會達到600萬人，比去年躍增38.6%。
