入冬的第一波寒流侵台，根據新北市消防局統計，昨新北市共有7件冷死意外，大部分為心血管疾病患者或年長者，死因疑與氣溫驟降有關。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，氣象局數據顯示，板橋區昨清晨僅攝氏12.8度，是當時全台平地最低溫，昨晚至今晨則是此波寒流最強的時候，直至18日清晨止，台南以北皆有機會出現8度左右的低溫。

亞東醫院心臟內科主任吳彥雯建議，心血管疾病患者及老人家除了飲食要清淡、定時服藥及適度飲水，室內可開電暖器，外出則要特別注意頭頸、大腿等處保暖，並隨身攜帶口罩，盡可能不要直接吸進冷空氣，讓手腳不會冰冷。（張鈜閔／綜合報導）
