馬辭黨主席？吳敦義：辭比不辭更難

副總統吳敦義今出席「2014臺灣全球健康論壇」，會後受訪表示，發生重大挫敗，總統一定有慎重考慮過黨主席的職務辭或不辭，不辭比辭，肩膀上要背負更大的重擔，蠟燭兩頭燒。要確實改革，重新挽回人心；黨的方面，要思考如何加強黨的凝聚力，以及面對新世代，尤其是網路世代的經營。

吳敦義說，馬總統若要辭掉黨主席，一辭就了事，可是必須面臨中國國民黨黨章修改的問題，因為目前的黨章規定，若黨中選出總統，黨主席就由總統兼任，而他（馬英九）一旦辭掉黨主席，由誰來接棒？必須照黨章規定，重新召開全國黨員代表大會，來修改黨章。

吳敦義也表示，這是民調為什麼都「走鐘」，是因為網路新世代的興起，尤其手機族已經不是傳統打有線電話做民調，可以掌握住的，傳統的選戰方式也必須與時俱進。至於「吳朱配」的說法，他表示「從沒有動過這個念頭。」
