美國華府前市長貝瑞病逝享壽78歲

英國廣播公司報導，美國華府前市長貝瑞（Marion Barry）23日病逝華盛頓一間醫院，享壽78歲。華府議會發言人說，貝瑞患有高血壓和糖尿病併發腎疾。

非裔的貝瑞為民主黨人士，1979年至1991年三度擔任華府市長，1990年因持有及服用古柯鹼與大麻被捕，1995年再度獲選為市長，1999年卸任。
