義大犀牛陽冠威8局下轟出2分逆轉砲（本季第8轟），讓犀牛4比3擊敗統一獅，洋投路易士中繼1局拿到第1勝，羅嘉仁救援成功（5救援）。

獅隊此戰領先了大半場，7局結束還以3比2領先，8局下獅隊換林岳平後援，2出局後先被高國輝敲安打，再被陽冠威轟逆轉紅不讓，陽冠威說「是內角偏紅中的失控變化球」，陽冠威這一轟也讓林岳平吞敗投（3勝3敗）。

犀牛先發投手林晨樺投6局被擊出5支安打失3分，獅隊1局上林志祥、劉芙豪、鄧志偉連敲安打攻得1分，2局上高志綱觸身球保送上壘，林志祥也獲保送，劉芙豪的二壘打，掃回2分，獅隊3比0領先。

獅隊新洋投畢爾先發5.2局被擊出5支安打包括1支全壘打失2分，6局下林益全轟2分彈（本季第12轟），總教練陳連宏說「畢爾的表現算不錯，而且投到第6局，他的用球數已到95球，是設定的球數目標」。
