民進黨籍彰化縣長參選人魏明谷與鹿港鎮長黃振彥，昨天表示要為鹿港爭取指定為歷史國家風景區，讓民宿業者順利申請合法化，打通鹿港觀光。黃振彥說，地方希望繼安平港後，推動鹿港成為全國第二個「國家特定歷史風景區」，能擁有2到5億元經費維護古蹟區，讓遊客都能看見傳統歷史與文化；同時，爭取民宿業者合法化，讓鹿港從古蹟、小吃到住宿全都一應俱全，串連鹿港觀光產業，打造鹿港觀光城。
