鴻海呂芳銘：亞太電4G拼年底開台

7月接任亞太電信（3682）董事長的鴻海（2317）集團副總裁呂芳銘，今天在亞太電臨時股東會結束後對媒體表示，亞太電信原本準備明年第1季4G開台，但現在希望「拼一拼」，看能否提前到今年年底開台，「因為4G提前開台對我們有好處」。
 
呂芳銘說明，亞太電信會建設250座基地台，達到NCC規定可以申請4G特許執照的門檻，再向NCC申請營運4G，待拿到特續執照後，再申請與同樣拿到4G頻譜的鴻海旗下國碁合併。
 
他也提到，亞太電與國碁手上合計有30MHz的4G頻譜，比NCC規定的單一業者在低頻段擁有頻寬上限25MHz，還多出5MHz，因此最近收到不少玫瑰花，至少3家電信業者上門洽詢購買那5MHz頻寬，但頻寬對4G營運很重要，亞太電會希望全都留在手上。（劉煥彥／台北報導）
