大陸網友『aidenden愛麗B』在街頭偶遇周潤發，曬和他合影，並稱：『嘩！I'm so lucky! 面皮薄的我，從未試過在街上向任何明星名人請求合照。但他實在太吸引，友善又幽默，即使我沒有化妝，也不可錯過難得的機會。』

根據網易娛樂報導，照片中，周潤發戴著黑超墨鏡，棒球帽，滿臉笑容露出潔白的牙齒，非常友善地和女粉絲合影，沒有一點明星架子，感覺十分的親切。此微博曝光後，網友紛紛表示羨慕，也求偶遇，而香港導演劉偉強也留言稱讚『正！』
