憂俄國威脅　北約暫不增加新成員

面臨極具侵略性的俄羅斯，北約表示將暫時排除增加新成員國的可能性。包括前蘇聯加盟共和國喬治亞在內，有4個候選國，均收到通知，稱北約暫時不會接納新成員國。 　　

至少在今年9月初，美國總統歐巴馬與其它北約成員國領導人在威爾士舉行峰會前，北約不會接納新成員國。專家分析稱，北約成員國擔心如接納新成員國，或者准成員國，俄羅斯恐會發起攻擊，檢驗北約對其會員國的安全保證。尤其是喬治亞，該國2008年以來一直等待北約批准其加入。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
