雙臉女嬰　誕生19天後過世

澳洲這對5月8日誕生的雙臉女嬰「信念」和「希望」，在出生僅19天後於27日過世

看著自己的女兒，連體女嬰的母親、澳大利亞女子蕾妮楊(Renee Young)說自己很感恩「能夠走到今天，我們是有福的。我覺得她們可愛極了。有時候「信念」會哭，然後把「希望」弄醒。然後，「希望」會側著眼睛看「信念」，就像在說感謝這一切。」27日，連體女嬰被宣告離世後，許多人紛紛在社交媒體上留言，為女嬰祝福。

這對連體嬰屬早產兒，在接受超聲波檢查時，醫生曾建議蕾妮人工流產，但蕾妮和丈夫仍決定生下她們。這 對女嬰的連體情況十分罕見，被稱為雙面畸胎，全球只有35例，至今沒有一例倖存。她們分享同一個身體和關鍵器官，但有各自的大腦和臉孔，腦幹相連。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
