就是她！微積分作者Maria Gaetana Agnesi誕辰

大家都知道Google首頁有時候都會放一些比較名人或者是事件的紀念專題，可以讓人在搜尋之餘，還可以多了解一些小故事。不過今天的首頁人物，似乎跟過往的名人有點不太一樣。

出現在Google首頁的這位是義大利數學家瑪利亞‧阿涅西（Maria Gaetana Agnesi），曾寫出第一本完整微積分教科書的課本。他幼年就精通義大利、法語、希臘語、希伯來語、西班牙語、德語與拉丁語等語言，是個十足十的天才。而他最著名的事蹟就是研究箕舌線，也就是在Google首頁上看到的曲線，這條曲線的別名「阿涅西巫婆(The Witch of Agnesi)」就是以他的名字命名的。

許多台灣網友看到微積分之母被放上Google首頁後，紛紛表示「原來就是你！」、「讓我三修的女人！我會記住你的！」、「我微積分是低空飛過...」、「自己會就好了，幹嘛那麼愛現！」(即時新聞中心／綜合報導）
